Shiny New paint on the Bowsprit
Yesterday was spent sweating and painting. I finally taped off the bowsprit and got three coats of topside on it while the weather held out. It looks a thousand times better. Clean the port topside and Cypraea's Bocas face lift will be pretty close to being complete. Time to sew a few rain/sun shades and waterproof the dodger again. We are planning on heading back on anchor in a week, it should be nice.
On a similar note. I took our anchors off the bowsprit to paint. I got a few comments on the ginormous anchors for such a small boat. For any future sailors/cruisers out there, big anchors means comfortable sleeps. These were a definite draw to purchase Cypraea.
